How often should I use Exfoliate?

Starting out, use 2-3 times per week and gradually build up frequency as your skin adjusts. You can adjust usage based on your skin’s needs and tolerance.

Can I use Exfoliate if I have sensitive skin?

Glycolic acid is not recommended for very sensitive skin—we recommend NMF Lactic Acid Toner instead for a gentler exfoliation.

No, Exfoliate is formulated to resurface without stripping the skin. While glycolic acid exfoliates deeply, ingredients like glycerin, niacinamide, and green tea extract help maintain moisture and balance. Some users may experience purging—a temporary increase in breakouts as congestion clears—but this is a normal part of the skin’s renewal process and should subside within a few weeks.
